What’s the difference between a cadet and a junior? Take a look below for a description of both of these critical membership types.

Cadet Member Program

Cadet members are members aged between 14 and 16. Cadet members participate in company activities including drills, community events, sports, and other learning experiences. Participation requires parental consent for any and all activities.

Junior Member Program

Junior members are members aged between 16 and 18. Junior members, like cadet members, participate in many company activities. Junior members are also allowed to take certification courses at Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute. Participation requires parental consent for any and all activities.
